Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach

IrishMum

Myself and my other immigrant friends often talk about the expectations we had of Australia before we arrived, and whether those expectations were fulfilled. One of the expectations we all had was for beautiful people lining the beaches, surfers on the water, and posers walking up and down the shore lines. Bondi Beach has realised that expectation for me. Not that my family are posers ;)

The great waves kept the kids amused for hours.

So much so that they didn't even notice the topless girls sitting right behind us. I didn't take a picture of them because that would have just been weird!

I wonder how much longer my boys will not notice the girls because they are busy playing?

IrishDoom decided he had to dig a hole big enough for his head.

Good job son, your big head fits in nicely.

The back wall of the beach is covered in graffiti. And of course my boys had to pose for some pictures.

Now you would think the boys had enough of the water for one day, but oh no they wanted to go to the pool after dinner.  It was more mucking around than swimming.

And some races against Dad. Funny how he always ends up more tired that the boys, but he does race them all individually, multiple times, then chase them around the pool.

IrishDoom realised that wet long hair and goggles don't mix.
